Gaviscon Peppermint Tablets

Gaviscon Peppermint Tablets are a treatment for the symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux such as acid regurgitation, heartburn and indigestion, for example, following meals or during pregnancy and for symptoms of excess stomach acid (hyperacidity).

These tablets contain three active ingredients calcium carbonate, sodium alginate and sodium bicarbonate. The calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate work as antacids to neutralise your stomach acid and ease the pain and discomfort this can cause. The sodium alginate works by forming a protective barrier over the contents of your stomach, preventing acid reflux and soothing irritation in your chest and throat.
