Ingredients

Dimeticone, 1,6,10-Dodecatrien-3-ol, 3,7,11-Trimethyl,PEG/PPG Dimeticone Co-polymer, Silica Sililylate.

What is it?

The active ingredient in Hedrin is dimeticone. Dimeticone is a silicone-based substance that effectively drowns lice by coating them and preventing them from being able to move. This means that the lice will never become immune to this treatment. Unlike other headlice treatments which work by poisoning the lice to kill them.
How to use it?

How do I use Hedrin Once Spray Gel?
Dosage:

Adults and children over 6 months:

Apply gel evenly over dry hair, ensuring that the scalp and hair are fully covered and the hair is saturated.

Work into the hair spreading the liquid thoroughly and evenly from the roots to the tips.

Leave on the hair for at least 15 minutes.

Shampoo out, applying the shampoo first before wetting hair.
Side effects

What are the side effects of Hedrin Once Spray Gel?
Possible side effects:

Skin irritation. If the product causes a rash or excessive irritation wash it off straight away with normal shampoo and get advice from your pharmacist regarding other products to treat the head lice.

Flaking of the scalp.

Itching or irritation around the eyes

If you have any concerns or queries regarding any side effects this medicine has caused or could cause you can call your GP or our pharmacist.

If you have any severe side effects stop use immediately and seek medical assitance as soon as possible.
